This series, hosted by George Preston, highlights the orchestra of Beijing's National Centre for the Performing Arts. Concerts include familiar Western masterworks, such as Beethoven symphonies, alongside new and traditional Chinese composers. Performances often include traditional Chinese instruments, such as the erhu, pipa and dizi.
