Music from Tanglewood

Tanglewood, in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts, has long been the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.  It's a remarkable place where world renowned musicians come together to make glorious music. This radio series presents concerts from Tanglewood performed by talented solo artists, chamber groups and orchestras.  You'll hear the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra and Festival Chorus, along with visiting artists such as pianist Peter Serkin, the Emerson String Quartet, soprano Ely Ameling, the Julliard String Quartet, pianist Lang Lang, bass-baritone Thomas Quasthoff, and pianist Claudio Arrau.  The program is hosted by Tanglewood alumna Susan Prince.
